Mistfall Hunter is a dark fantasy extraction ARPG from developer Bellring Games, published by Skystone Games. Set after a catastrophic war between gods and the Outer Gods, the divine have fallen and their spilled blood has become the Gyldenmist — a corrosive golden fog that spreads madness across the land. You are a resurrected warrior serving Dew, the reborn fragment of the Fate Goddess, and your job is to descend into corrupted ruins, scavenge valuable loot, fight corrupted monsters (and rival players), then escape alive.
Combat is third-person, fast-paced and lock-on-free. There are six classes, each with two distinct weapon or playstyle branches, a deep talent system, dozens of rare gems that customize equipment affixes, and ten-plus active skills per loadout. Dying in a run means losing everything you carried — to extract, you must defeat a rare Returner Woodling for a Soul of Return. Runs support solo, duo or trio parties, with full crossplay between PC, PS5 and Xbox.
The game launched on July 30, 2026 at $24.99 and passed one million players within its first week, peaking at 44,472 concurrent players on Steam. Reviews are currently "Mixed" (62.55% positive on Steam; Metacritic 71) — the combat is widely praised, while balance and monetization debates continue.
